Your mother requested to visit us before I return home. That was a task to me because I need to prepare tea, food and snacks for your parents. I asked if they like Italian cheese cake. You said your parents are picky on food and they do not eat cheese that was cooked inside a cake; so better let it be a secret.
Early that morning, we went to Albert Heijn for very thing we need for the tea gathering with your parents. I made the Apple Crumble Cheese Cake, fingers chocolate and prepared the nuts and tea for their arrival.
Your parents arrived and mama looked around the house. She put her fingers over the shelf and see if there was dust; and she sat on the sofa and touch this and touch that before I served the snacks and tea on the coffee table. Your mother asked me about the receipt and I just smile and said nothing. I worried about my performance on the day. You comforted me and said that mama like those things I prepared for them and especially the cake; and you told me she likes me. Wow, really? I like her and your papa too!
